SETUP

This is essential to the enjoyment of your instrument. Guitars have a mind of their own, and are constantly moving and shifting. We will make the necessary adjustments to suit both your guitar and your playing style. We recommend that you have us look at your guitar every six months to ensure it is playing it’s best.

Don’t forget that brand new instruments are rarely setup at the factory. Many of our clients bring their new guitars to us before they even take it home!

FRET LEVEL

To achieve a first rate setup, it is essential that an insrtuments frets are in good shape. Incorrect installation, and playing wear are just a couple of reasons your guitar may need a fret level.

At Keith Holland’s Guitar Hopital, we take pride in our fret work. You won’t get your guitar back with flat frets! We individually shape, crown, and polish each fret to perfection. You will enjoy smoother play, no fret buzz, and improved intonation once we’ve completed the job!

RE-FRET

Frets are like tires on a car…they eventually wear out. Don’t torture yourself with flat,worn out frets! When we replace them, you’ll be amazed by how well your instrument plays! We refret all kinds of instrument, and we specialize in Gibson “nub-retention” re-frets, as well as Martin “compression” re-frets.
