John Wedemeyer and America’s Got Talent winner Michael Grimm
Bay Area “Blues Rock” hero John Wedemeyer applies his jaw-dropping fretwork in support of Michael Grimm, winner of America’s Got Talent. Grimm blew away the judges on AGT with his amazing soulful performances and won over the hearts and votes of millions of viewers.

Here is a great shot of John diggin’ in on his Keith Holland Custom S-ANS, one of his two Keith Holland ‘Aged-New Stock’ Guitars. This one sports a custom “Sonic Blue” Nitrocellulose finish thinly applied for better resonance, Custom-Shaped Maple Neck, and Keith’s Custom Aged Hardware. John prefers Seymour Duncan ‘59 pickup in the bridge, and Fralin Vintage Hots in the Neck and Mid positions.
Anyone who’s seen these two know this is a great combo – Lets hope for some more amazing things to come from John and Michael in the future!
Look for Michael’s debut release “Michael Grimm” this May 17 on Epic Records http://www.michaelgrimmmusic.com/

Keith Holland repairs Archtop Bridge on a 60’s Gretch 6124 Archtop Vintage Guitar.
In this video, Keith shows a Gretsch 6124 that is undergoing a restoration. When new, this 6124 originally came with an Archtop style bridge that rested on the top of the body. Somewhere in this guitar’s history it had holes drilled into the top for a Tune-O-Matic bridge to be installed. Keith’s first step was to fill the holes with Maple dowel rod.
The next step was to shape the bottom of the bridge so that it makes a matching fit with the top of the Archtop. This is a little tricky, and Keith decided to make a video so you can see how its done in order to make a solid contact with the top.
